Letter from the Board

HELLO KASZ MEMBERS,
As we draw near to the end of 2021, KASZ thanks all who participated in our 15 Year Anniversary Campaign, $15 for 15! The funds raised help KASZ meet the needs of seniors. We will continue to accept donations through the I Love KASZ Campaign. If you plan to make year-end, tax deductible contributions we ask you to consider KASZ. Also, as you plan your year ahead, and make any New Year’s resolutions, consider sharing your time and talents with KASZ. It’s good to be connected!

After 15 years of service to the Hays seniors, Kyle Area Senior Zone (KASZ) is planning to partner with Hays County, and the City of Kyle, in a new Senior Community Center. An architect has designed a 45,000 square-foot building that will serve the needs of the senior citizens of Kyle and surrounding areas. The initial phase of this project will cost approximately $600,000. KASZ, City of Kyle, and Hays County will split this initial expense. KASZ has an immediate need of $200,000 to fund our share of the initial expenses. Any additional money raised will be used to support new programs. We are asking for your help covering this need, so that a modern senior community center to serve the growing senior population of Hays County can proceed. Thank you for your support.

We send our best wishes to you in the Holidays and in the New Year!
