Historic Kyle City Hall (HKCH)
Our New Home at the corner of Center and Burleson
KASZ is happy to be a part of the greater Kyle Community and joyfully involved in growing with the town. The Kyle Community, including local citizen groups and businesses, have been very supportive of KASZ and its members.
The City of Kyle provides the HKCH to KASZ. After undergoing an extensive renovation in 2010, the building is the new home of KASZ.
HKCH also serves as a community center to provide space for city activities that have long been associated with this building, including non-profit organization meetings and social events and functions.
The City of Kyle also rents HKCH to private individuals. For more information on rental, contact City of Kyle Parks and Recreation at (512) 262-3939
Funding and Sponsorship
KASZ is funded by the City of Kyle, the Hays County Commissioners’ Court, membership dues and personal and corporate donations.
The Kyle Quilters are made up of a group of spirited local women and one man who love quilting. They are one of KASZ’s most popular groups. They meet monthly on the second Monday, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and the third Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call Kathy Gilson, President, at (512) 449-6565 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels, a long time Kyle service, is also located in HKCH. Meals may be served in a congregate setting to persons over 60 years of age and are able to leave their homes to have a hot meal. Kyle volunteers deliver about 30 meals a day to the the elderly and disabled citizens of Kyle who can no longer leave their homes unassisted.
